Hydrophobic nano-silica has high hydrophobicity and lipophilicity, and exhibits good dispersibility and compatibility in oily and hydrophobic systems. It has excellent properties such as reinforcement, thickening and thixotropy, anti-settling, matting, flow aid and anti-caking.

Application Fields
Powder coatings and plastic powders: Used as a powder flow aid to improve and maintain the fluidity of materials and prevent caking.
Coatings, paints, and inks: Used as anti-settling agents and rheology additives, playing roles such as thickening, anti-settling, and thixotropy, and improving the weather resistance, scratch resistance, surface smoothness, and adhesion of coatings.
Adhesives and sealants: Has the functions of thickening, controlling thixotropy, increasing bonding strength, and improving sealing performance.
Dry powder fire extinguishing agents: As a main hydrophobic component, it reduces the moisture absorption and anti-caking properties of the powder, maintains high free fluidity, and enhances its storage and spraying performance.
Plastic products: Improves their strength, toughness, and aging resistance, and increases elongation and Izod impact strength.
Resins and silicone elastomers: Can improve their strength, surface smoothness, wear resistance, and aging resistance, and effectively control rheology.
Defoamers: Has excellent dispersibility, adsorptivity, and stability, enhances defoaming and foam-inhibiting properties, and improves defoaming efficiency.
Hydrophobic nano-silica can also be used in cosmetics, anti-blocking agents for films, coating additives for anti-glare films, etc.
